yesterday was one hectic day. well, friday night had a barbeque at our ord friend wong's place. it was quite fine i must say, esp since it was all guys. haha. and a bit far from my house. barely only about 5 hours sleep friday night cuz wake up early saturday mornings to play ball at rjc. straight after bball, went home and then out to parkway parade to meet daryl, who was there for the singapore idol roadshow thing. had lunch eventually at macs. then went to town peninsular with jon and alvin, who wanted to buy a guitar, and i strings. jon was our guitar-guide or something, haha. then we went to beside padang this quiet spot at this war memorial 'our glorious dead' monument, where jon taught us the first few chords. couldn't make it though. hhaha. decided to drop by baybeats @ esplanade for a look-see. quite interesting lah.

today after church, met up with allele and ken teh for pirates of caribbean:dead man's chest. i was asking kenneth before the show what's so interesting about the pecs of a dead dude. haha kidding lah.. i thought it was quite an entertaining show, less the ending. didn't quite catch it. perhaps it was because i needed to go to the toilet so much i couldn't concentrate. urrgh. but i'm quite sure they were setting the stage for the third installment basically. the show in itself was funny, johhny depp was pretty good actually, and keira knightley too. and orlando showing he could be a pirate just almost as well as an elf. good looker lah he.
